Tales from the Scales Tuesday!!

Alrighty, so it has been a good week, I have chosen to eat a couple of things "not on the menu", but I was able to eat them in controlled amounts!! I refuse to give in. The scale numbers are still going down, even though I do not see a physical difference, yet!! So the weigh in you ask..............................................................................................................




2 Pounds!!!!!




That is a total of 10 pounds!!!!!!!!!


I really do not see a physical difference. I knew this would happen, the last time I supposedly lost weight, everyone else noticed except me!! I just don't see a change in the mirror right away or I have to good of a body image that I do not see the truth. I can see the weight on me when I look at pictures, but I am not ready to post weight loss pictures just yet, give me some time!!


I did not make it to the gym this week, not very like me. I really, really enjoy going to the gym and have always used the gym for more of a therapy. I use it to fight depression and clear my head, you know, get my thoughts in order. It helps me to sleep well at night and awake rested, OK I could go on and on! So to get to the point I will be making more than zero trips to the gym this week and if I can't go I will walk with the dog and kids like I did yesterday!!


I am still committed and staying away from the fast food!!!!!!

  2. Yeah, Chrissy! Today someone told me I looked like I'd lost weight. Well, duh! You lay in bed sick for a week not eating and that will happen. Unfortunately I don't want it to happen that way. I want to be stronger and healthier...not just skinny.
    I still wish I liked excercise as much as you did. You always used to keep me accountable for coming to step class. I won't do anything, unless I have someone to workout with. I hope once I get over this thing, I'll be able to get into a good routine of something. Keep it up, Chrissy, you're doing great. And more than that, you're doing it the safe and right way.

  3. Ten pounds is awesome! Did you take measurements, too? Sometimes the results show up there when you are losing weight but can't tell in the mirror yet.

  4. Great job losing this week and 10 pounds is awesome! I am just now beginning to notice a difference in my body and I am hovering almost to 40 pounds loss. Even when I have gotten to buy smaller clothes I haven't really noticed the difference even though obviously it is there. I think it just has to be our mixed up body image, not to mention because we see ourselves everyday. You have done a great job and should be very proud of yourself!! Keep up the great work.

  7. Great Job Chrissy!!!!!!!!!!! 10 pound is awesome!!!! High-five to your openness and honesty about weight loss....I just now started telling my kids how much I weigh (if they ask). I never would before for fear they'd repeat it:-)
