RIP RUNNIN & ROARIN

This is just an outlet for me, to be able to get my thoughts out! I am a Woman, Wife and Mommy that also works outside the home! Just me trying to make it all work for the best for my family and myself! Just my journey!

And the next day...

We head to Six Flags. I never did purchase the Flash pass and found we didn't really need it. We had a blast. Seperated into groups and on our way! So much fun. Yaya is very very brave she rode all the rides I rode! After the first one, which Nana also rode, I heard a little voice say "AWESOME"! All I could do was laugh! Yaya was so thrilled to ride the Superman when we were done, she said "AWESOME"! The start of a very good day!
We head to a few more rides and then it is time to meet the rest of our group for lunch or whatever! It was so hot, why not have lunch in the water park! "J" stuck with us, unlike a teenager, all the way! She was so much fun! And LOOK it is a teenager smiling and she was with adults and little kids alllllll day!!! Fun for all! Before I knew it, it was myself and two other adults, constantly counting to six! Six kids, some of which were nervous about water slides but didn't want to miss out! Sometimes they changed their minds on the way up but by the time they got to the top, they changed their minds again and when they were at the bottom they were always the first ones to say "let's go again!" 5 hours later, we are hungry and it is time for the water park to close! All of us went to meet up again and decide our destinations! Some for roller coasters only, some for games rides that weren't big roller coasters and some head home! Everyone had some fun and all were willing to help out the younger ones!!!Well let me tell you Ava had a blast a Wiggle World, although I never got to see it, I sure did enjoy seeing the pics and video and hearing the stories. She "stalked" Dorothy the Dinosaur and How dare her want to rest and get out of the heat.
Yaya rode the Raging Bull and did NOT like it at all! Mommy guilt sets in, the only ride she didn't like and cried, sorry Yaya!
My Grandma even joined us at Six Flags, how fun is that.
Some of us did not hold up as well in the heat, he probably should have been in the lazy river all afternoon, but was looking for sleep and a/c!
Somehow one of these kids got away with only this picture, hmmm, how did he do that!!
Still most of all, it was just good to have and good day, and tons of fun with friends (family)!!

Celebrate!!

We celebrated this little Man's Birthday recently and all enjoyed!! I am not sure that I have ever seen this little guy unhappy or unenergized!! He is always ready and always on! Leo is such fun to be around, his smile is contagious and he is very tall for his young age of 3!

Ava also enjoyed the Birthday! She is so taken away by the many "things" we have to do around here! She has been so excited by all the little rides and fun stuff! She has surely enjoyed herself and her time in the States!
Sometimes we celebrate on time and sometimes we are a little behind!
Happy Birthday LEO!!
I leave you with a small piece of our entertainment.... I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

My Favorite Things............

Don"t you just love it when good family is around!! These are my cousins, we grew up with them. My mom tried to always have them around. My cousin Shane (on the left), my cousin Polly (the middle) and their brother, my cousin, Keith (on the right). I love having them around and enjoying themselves. OK, Your right I am tearing up ready to cry!!!
Larry with Ava on the sexy tractor (with a few more kids)!! Ava waits for the tractor to "wake-up" every morning, she waits patiently and excitedly, to ride! She is a doll!!

I so love having family around! My cousin Shane and Her family traveled a long, long way to be with us! I'll be sharing even more soon!
We are trying to cram so much into a short visit!!
I think it is the best when both wives get along and the husbands get along and then you add kids and they just go, they get along so well. It's like they belong together, like they have always been together, like they work well together, Oh my favorite things!!!

Six Flags, Great America

OK.... who has been to Six Flags lately?

Who knows anything about the Flash Pass? Is it worth the bucks to purchase this or is it just better to wait in line? Can you ride other rides while waiting for your reservation on another ride? Is is limited on the rides that it works for?

Give me some information, PLEASE!!

The Joys of Parenting

Sometimes we have fun at their expense:

Oops! Did I really write that, I think that is supposed to be a secret!! I think you can hear Larry saying "stay there, Adam, Stay there!" How obedient, he stayed, went back, and stayed there!!!!

When we went to pick up Sexy Tractor we made a short trip of it and stayed at the Tundra Lodge in Green Bay Wisconsin. One night of quality family time, lots of relaxing, order room service for the kids and send mom and dad to the pub downstairs to watch the White Sox play, eat dinner and enjoy each other for a moment.

Pick up the Sexy Tractor, to try to make keeping up slightly easier. Then drive all the way home and head back to work the next day!

Now that is how to spend your weekend off!

Fun night, but only one night!
