RIP RUNNIN & ROARIN

This is just an outlet for me, to be able to get my thoughts out! I am a Woman, Wife and Mommy that also works outside the home! Just me trying to make it all work for the best for my family and myself! Just my journey!

Awake, just a little bit longer....

I heard about the kids getting to enjoy their dune buggies and Quad yesterday! I must say I was very very jealous, I used to be there to see everything they did.

I am still trying to get a good hold on this foreman's position. Where is the even balance? What kind of foreman do I want to be? Where do I stand? Dear God, please don't let me be a pushover!!!

The most amazing thing has been happening... we are constantly down to 1/2 load of laundry! WoHOOOOOO! Yes, it is amazing! Oh yea I should tell you I do maybe 3 loads of laundry per week, hubby does the other 400,000,000!!!! It is so great to have a supportive hubby and a great one! Oh yea, this morning, for the first time evvvveeeeerrrr I got breakfast in BED! Yes, yes yes! Toast, oatmeal and 1/2 cup of coffee. Do you think this might have been his way of getting me out of bed!? It worked before I was finished with my toast I was downstairs! If I don't get up early I don't see my babies!

Crazy life, I worry! I worry about my kids and my hubby! Everyone is fine I am just concerned for them!

I do have a crazy fear of coming home. Until I open the door and find everyone ok, it is always a long prayerful ride home! It promotes me to pray and I know where my dependence lies. It lays with God! So putting it like that says I'm ok, no big deal. Putting it as a real fear leaves me vulnerable and insane, not strong! His strength is made perfect in my weakness.o

  1. I think it takes a while to get your groove in a new job. You'll do great!!!

And breakfast in bed????? What a great start to the day!!

I get up early sometimes to snuggle with my munchkin. Sometimes on weekdays that's my only opportunity. I SO understand.

  2. Chrissy -- One of my favorite sayings is, "Pray for a good harvest, but continue to hoe!" I know you are regularly asking God to direct you, so you'll be fine in all ways -- job and family. Your husband does sould like a great guy. We've been married almost 43 years and Hubby still doesn't know how to run the washer! But, he does do other things. :)
